SCOOTER SERVICE
We use the manufacturers specified oil and parts for the service and provide a service report on all aspects of the machine.
If you are unsure of when your scooter is due for service we can advise and pre-book your service and then remind you nearer the time.
We collect the machine from you at your convenience and when applicable leave you a loaned scooter for you to use whilst your scooter is being maintained.
A SEVEN POINT SERVICE CHECK IS MADE ON THE SCOOTER.
- The batteries are tested for load as well as voltage using specialist equipment and a check is made of the connectors and wiring.
- The motor is fully tested, particular attention is made to the condition of the brushes and brake unit.
- The transaxle is re-greased and checked for free running.
- The lights are tested together with the hazards and indicators.
- The controller is fault tested and the wiring fully checked.
- Correct alignment of the seat together with its ability to swivel and slide.
- All nuts are tightened together with a check of the wheel bearings, tyres and tiller alignment.
